COVID-19: Keeping Our Workplace Safe

Mar 19, 2020

Dear Clients and Business Partners,

As the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation unfolds, Cangro Services Limited is taking steps to communicate and take precautionary measures. We would like to provide you with information about how we are handling the virus.

Employee guidelines:
Limit gathering in groups, keep meetings to as few people in the same room as possible (recommended 10 or less), and clean the area with the wipes or cleaning products provided.

Where possible, arrange meetings by teleconference or video conference.
Join external meetings by video conference.

All business travel is restricted. The only business travel to occur must be carefully evaluated and deemed to directly impact business continuity.

Help keep sites, workstations, offices, and common areas such as the kitchen and meeting rooms safe by thoroughly cleaning surfaces, door handles, and equipment multiple times per day or after use with the cleaning supplies available.

Continue to remember:
-Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer
-Cough or sneeze into your elbow or a tissue (throw tissue away)
-Limit contact with others when you are sick
-Limit touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
-Don’t share items that may have saliva on them like utensils and bottles/glasses
-Clean surfaces like taps, doorknobs, and countertops often
-Symptoms to watch for include fever, cough, difficulty breathing, and pneumonia in both lungs. If you experience these symptoms or feel you are at risk of becoming ill with COVID-19, call 811 and follow the advice of a licensed healthcare professional.

Self-isolation:
If you have reasonable grounds to believe that you might have or are at risk of contracting COVID-19 based on recent travel to a country the Canadian Government has assessed as “as risk" take the steps recommended by Health Authorities, which currently include self-isolation and staying at home for 14 days.

If you have come into contact with someone who might have COVID-19, is being tested for it, or exhibits symptoms, take steps to limit your contact with others for 14 days.

If you are undertaking personal travel, closely monitor travel advisories on the Government of Canada's COVID-19 travel advice website. If you are planning personal travel in the next 2 months or have recently travelled, notify HR and your manager.

Visitor guidelines:
We ask that visitors to our offices or worksites observe guidelines similar to those shared with our employees. We also appreciate your patience in understanding that employees may not attend previously scheduled meetings or events as the situation evolves.

Thank you for your cooperation and support.
